Monterey and Big Sur ride 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
Today my wife and I and five other couples Took a ride through Monterey and up to Big Sur for lunch man all I can say is Monterey Bay Coast is so freaking gorgeous and is Big Sur had a great lunch great ride with great friends

Rene Buddy I'm sorry to hear that you know I do a lot of cross-country riding and going through these others states that get rain and thunderstorms in the summertime im a California boy I just can't get used to that

Awesome. As soon as I get my Reckless I plan on taking the wife on that ride. Done that drive in a car and it was amazing. Can't imagine on a R* Ragged point is a really cool spot.

Riding the coastal route from Southern California to central California is also gorgeous ride.If you make it give me a shout and we can hook up for lunch

I agree, lived near and have ridden HWY-1 (Monterey/Carmel) many times, it is some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever see on a bike. Glad you enjoyed it. If you ever have the chance to do so, take HWY-1 into Santa Cruz and catch HWY-9 through Boulder Creek. Several miles of 2 lane highway through the redwoods.

This is one ride on my bucket list. I hope that I get to ride it before I get to old. I was stationed at Fort Ord and got to see the part of the coast in a car...
