Those places are fine for M&G, but riding in that area is terrible! I get enough urban experience on the commute, speaking for myself.
As far as BBQ, I am more in for the independent joints than the franchise outfits.
Not that I would not show up and break bread, that's cool.
Bonedaddy's died off in Waxahachie. Apparently there was not enough of that atmosphere to sell a truckload of 3 dollar longnecks every weekend! The police loved it. Great place to tag DWI suspects.

Thats the place! Dirty Cock as we call it. One of my best friends works there so we hung out and got our drank on catching up! lol Do you know Jason there? He has a Roadie as well with Apes and air system. He just bought a Harley to go with it.
I am up for a meet and greet locally to start. I like to know who I am riding with and am very particular about it. I have seen too many asshats in groups trying to show off and take out other riders in the process. I don't do latge meet rides like The SRV Memorial anymore.
So before we go cruising the countryside, feel free to meet up in town for some bbq and get to know me before we rely on eachother in a group.

There are two good BBQ joints in the Wylie area, Parker / st. Paul. Good roads to cruise on. Ride down by the lake.
Gonzo, is Jason's bike grey with neon green? If so, then I know him, and he is a good friend of a buddy of mine. I would be down to meet up with you, maybe go for a ride and hit the dirty rooster. The rooster is just down the road from my house.

Sure thing!! How about Thursday night for the second NBA playoff game? I wonder if they'll even show it. If not, theres The Franchise in Plano. Probably better as its smoke free and I wont smell like an ashtray when i get home! Haha. No offense. I grew up in Okc so am cheering on the Thunder.

Hi all.. I live in the N. Garland (Firewheel) area. Work in E. Plano.. Don't have too much time to ride these days, work can get in the way  but usually get out for a lil bit on Sundays. Good to know that there are several locals on the forum. |

To everyone in the area, curt and I are trying to see how many members we can get to meet up. This would be the first time multiple members got together for a NorTex meet.
Gonzo, not sure if I can do thursday. Usually the best night for me are like sun, or monday nights. I usually have to work every weekend.

I think the best way to do this is to pick a day and time. Those that can make it, can. Those that can't, will catch the next one. With as many as are around here, trying to match everyones schedule will be next to impossible. If you want a quick meet, an evening would be best. If you want to put on some miles, go for a Saturday. We could meet somewhere for breakfast, ride somewhere to have lunch and then go our seperate ways from there.
That said, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are out for me.
