Nothing wrong with a little "cushion". I'm big on comfort! That being said, a GL1800 is a hoot (Honda pun) to ride, but I'm not ready for that! Yet.

Shoot, have you boys seen the new 2012 Goldwings? I saw one at the bike show a few months ago. In my opinion, it was in the top 5 best looking bikes there. Sitting on one made me feel like I was in my living room. All I needed was my t.v. remote control. lol

Re:Rude Bikers 11 Months, 1 Week ago
I must say my grandpa wore out 3 Goldwings and he could out run flat out or in the twisties anyone on that Goldy 2up! I told me he spanked a R6 in a canyon once, the rider came riding up on him crusin through and was flashing his light and waving for my Grandpa to get over and let him pass, My Grandpa rolled on the throttle and leaned er over and that R6 couldn't keep up. I would think my Grandpa was BS'n but, my great uncle was riding with him on his Ultra Classic and saw it all. I've ridin with him before he sold his last Goldwing a few years ago and even with 70k on that bike I couldn't touch him on my R*.
My Grandparents toured the states for several years on a Goldwing and my grandpa said he never got wore out on it, he could do 400+ mile days and still feel good at the end of the day.

If that's true how come Goldwingers won't wave?

Im pretty sure its a cult. You gotta have a Goldwing, those fancy helmets with the microphones and a trailer hooked to it or your a nobody in their eyes....lol. Oh yeah I also think you have to have on wrangler jeans riding halfway up your leg, blue socks and white sneakers on to ride a goldwing, and your wife has to be, um, lets just say, husky.

Hey, big girls need loving too.

They're using those mics to give your co-ordinates, they are watching you
