Did that when I was riding my goldwing...neighbour's driveway has a 2 way slope in the part that I "Laid my ride down" on..Goldwing weighs about the same 800 lbs...That's the day he showed me how to pick it back up...(he's 5'6' and about 170 lbs)..It came in real handy when on my ride from B.C. to Sask and back. On the way back, I was scratchin my head over the wing quiting on me in the middle of a wot run against a semi.....while standing on the side of the road, one of those Sask breezed came along and tipped the wing over so the tires were higher than the handlebars....I used the recently taught ....back up against the bike....technique and righted the wing... (thanks neighbour for teaching me this)...then got a jump start from the next good ol boy happening by and continued on my trip...lol

I've done that before many years ago. I now shut my R* by leaving it in gear and flick out the kick stand. When the engine quits I know it is safe to go to the stand. Once it is resting on the stand I dismount.
