I was thinking about that also, but I think I'll go with an extended lever instead....moves the pedal farther to the front and out of the way of my foot....
i think thats a soft brake arm. i like that over cutting it down but there is a artical you can read that for pretty cheap you can move the whole assembly forward and get the same thing for about $100 less
the one I am looking at is here (second one down) http://www.pacificcoaststar.com/pcs/road_star_extensions.htm
yeah, they are a little pricey....is the article on here in the tech area?
edit: never mind, I found it....yes it would be cheaper....but I am a fat disabled man that has no place to work on a bike, I don't even have a garage.....so I just save money to get the things I want/need
Thanks for the link Goliath
I maybe moving out and in at the same time
By the way, the quikie flat bar extension for the rear brake(found here on the forum), requires extra work with the Big Highway Bar like yours, I'm pretty sure. I believe that when you move it forward, part of the brake hardware runs into the bar. I'm gonna take a hard look at the link you posted. That'd get the brake pedal clear out of the way.
