Heh, I was certified in a pool. Well, we had to do an open ocean dive for the "final"..but all the learning was done at the pool.

Btw Fireman, you don't really have to be a strong swimmer. The BCD is inflatable! Weeeee!

Be careful Fire, lol. remember that our SCBAs are only rated to 15 feet. lol. i have had a scott and MSA to 27 feet. but the facepiece leaked bad.
