At work, every year, we have to submit to the ins. co. reciepts for medical expenses, you shoyuld of seen the look on the womans face when I asked her if my bike would count as a write off for therapy.... It was well worth asking about

Awhile back my wife was on me about doing honey-do's around the house...I had to go to the hardware store for a shelf bracket,it is three miles away. I went and got the bracket and returned two hours later. She was fuming mad smelled my breath for booze and asked where had I been...I told her I went to the hardware store and got the bracket, put it in the saddle bag, hopped on my bike and then it was all a blur after second gear,I didn't have time to stop for a beer,(she didn't speak to me for two days)nicest two days I had in awhile.
I believe in bike therapy....it really works!

I admit to being tied to my cell phone and Blackberry(work issued) but I'll be danged if I can understand why anyone wants to be able to answer their phone while riding.

There's nothing to compare it to. The wind just blows the cares of the world right off your shoulders.
I seem to always take the "long way home". If I take the bike to run a couple simple errands, there's no telling how long it might take.

Riding = Living. We need it. We live because of it. We breath it. It keeps us alive, plain and simple. When we ride at the RIGHT TIME, or with the RIGHT PEOPLE, or to the RIGHT PLACE...we COME ALIVE!
