I bought tires every single year with my Concours, if I could get tires to last more than one season I'd be happy! I put Kenda tires on my Sportster once and they were great tires. I'll try anything once. Yeah, I'm a RUSH fan..lol.

Thanks for all the leads. Giving me a good place to start. I can see this is going to turn into some kind of addiction that's going to cost a bunch o' money...

I have an '07 Silverado, stage 1 exhaust and I love the way it sounds. Tame, yes, but if you ever have to follow someone with really loud pipes, it's like a hammer in your ears mile after mile. My buddy just put his stock pipes back on his Stratoliner, and we leave Friday for an 800 miler... he's happy (no real significant difference in the way it runs), his neighbors are happy, his wife-rider is happy, and my wife and I are glad, too. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of opened-up pipes from afar, just not close-up mile upon mile. To each his own.

I am running a Michelin Commander II on the rear now, and after 700 miles, I love it. Seems to be a great tire, and my bike really feels stuck to the road in curves now.

Enjoy your bike!

I have a 2003 Silver Edition and I just put some Dunlop Cruisemax white walls on as you see below. I am happy with the tires. I ordered the Avon, but they were backordered, and then delayed, so I went with my 2nd choice. It came with Cobra passenger floor boards.

I haven't even started researching dual exhausts yet..I will be though. The Big Shots are in the $550 range...

those bigshots sound nice but something to consider if you have or ever put on saddlebags you will be limited to what you can do with as much upsweep as those have. take the stock roadie hardbags from the factory they are set all the way up to the top of the fender and they look "OK" but i have to say with the lowering kit for the bags they look fantastic just from droping them 2" or 3 " on the fender and moving them back some. you wouldnt be able to do that with high mounted pipes like the big shots. now if you dont like saddlebags and like a naked bike then go for it any pics of your bike we really like pic around here

i just notced you were asking about rear floor boards too. these are what i gave my wife and she is in love with them. she said "no pegs are fine dont spend the money" and now she says "dont you dare go back to pegs"

+1 on what smoke said. But on the plus side, you probably will never drag a set of pipes like those! And also, its a requirement for more help past this to post pics....
