I guess that's about where I would be with stock risers.If you don't mind me asking how tall are you? Are the apes really more comfortable? I am having trouble seeing that they are I am basing my choice on the fact that I have not read anyone who put them on and wish they had not.

I am just a shade under 6'. I think they are really comfortable and the bike handles well with them. I just wish they were a tad lower for looks more than anything. Your shoulders will be a little tender for a couple of weeks after you install them, but after that you will wonder how you ever had anything else!
