I see a 22.5 on the gauge. If your bike is running at 22.5 ever, it needs some re-tuning AFR readings should be
cold start 11.5 -12.5,
warm idle 12.8 -13.5,
part cruise 13-14 (IMO 13.5-14.5 is optimum)
WOT 12.5-12.8 and can be down to 11.5 with no harmful effects
This is right from the manual not just my opinion.
BTW the paint looks SWEEEET!!!!

thanks Dave... it typically runs within your numbers... that photo was with the key on/engine off... 22.4 is the default reading on the gauge until engine kicks on and it gets some data...

I have my AFR meter hooked up to not come on until the eng is running so I have not seen that default. When it comes on it goes right to HTR for about 30 sec before #'s show. I did it like that so the o2 heater isn't on when cranking the eng. But it seems that it might not be on the way you have it hooked up.

Thanks for the kind feedback gents. I was a little nervous taking the bike apart but gained the confidence thru all the great information on this RSC..

Smokescreens- I used a handlebar clamp (had an extra motosens clamp) and then made a small bracket to connect the gauge to the clamp.. Let me know if you want to see some pics.
