I just nailed down a 3700 mile trip, all went well, But every time I do this I think is this the trip I'm going to die on. Soooo many fellow motorist just have no idea how to act around bikes. Why must the follow me at 8 to 10 feet when I am doing 70 mph or the speed limit, I have no idea. Drive defensive, you have a lot of extra weight on the bike so allow for extra handling and stopping distance.

Ya can't take too many pictures.

Not sure that i pod is going to get past the Leo's if its up while your running.

Alright guys after 15 hours and 710 miles I made it to my grandma
S house at 1130 pm. Man tracfic really sucked in,places. Than I would get stuck behind a bunch of trucks and have to wait for a passing a,lane. Than when coming from price heading to,dushane u have to go thur a canyon. Everything was going well until this huge semi started slowin down to like 5mph for a whole mile than finally pulled over. So I passed him than 2 more cars pulled over for me, so at this point in thinking what the hell lol and its ten o clock at night. So om driver thur the canyon and all sudden the road is gettin filled with smoke. So I keep driving than notices the side of the canyon has like 6 or 7 fires burning on it. So that was kinda spooky especially with all the smoke in the road. It took us like and hour and half to do 50 miles. But we finally made it late last night. boy does sleepin on a nice bed feel good after being on the bike for 15 hours. OH,I FORGOT When heading into price we went right thur the middel of this little thunder dust storm, the wind was so,strong I was leaning sideways to keep the bike upright. I tell u that was a major pucker factor. That wind was pushing us around like we were so light. It was pretty scary. But I made it safe and thats what matters

I pulled it up on Google maps, assuming you rode up US 191. Looks a beautiful road.

On the other hand, I've done the 15 hour thing due to traffic, not a lot of fun!

Keep us posted.

Hey Cody! Grandma let you carry all your gypsy gear in the house?! Looks quite a bit lighter than when you started!
Enjoy.
