They are well informed on Road Stars and are willing to help in any way possible, just don't ask for an advancement on your allowance, tho!
You don't get a free beer until you get a thousand post, and it doesn't count if you don't post a picture.
with rule number one being said! enjoy!it's a cool place to be.

I have been reading the forums for almost a year and only recently joined. I wanted to thank everyone for the valuable info that has been posted. You have all helped me with:

maintaining my brakes
keeping my white wall tires clean, I almost used Armorall???
changing my oil to synthetic....and only adding 4 quarts, unlike my manual states
my decision to purchase a WOLO horn and install it myself, having to make the wire harness from scratch

and countless other posts that have me creating a wish list for future add ons.

I'm a wing nut too! and one post closer to that free beer!

Thank you all.

Get "Speed Bleeders". Makes it a one man job. I had them on by previous bike but not my R*, yet. I will put them on when I have to replace my brake pads.

www.speedbleeder.com

Oh, and by the way from Alabama.

Thank you! to everyone for your help. I have been out of town until today and will be attacking the brake issue this weekend. I'm sure I'll get it bleed now with all this info. I gave up after trying for about 2 hours the day I put the new cables on.

If you are in Auburn, I can help you tomorrow after 6PM. I have to pick up a co-worker in Portland tonight, or I'd come help fix you up.

Let me know. Not like you're gonna ride much the next couple of days! Nice weather ya got up here!

I actually work in Auburn. I really appreciate your offer to help! Some really great people on this site!
