I will ride safe, live large, and laugh often in your Dad's honor. Cheers! Nice tribute.

After reading the obituary I can say I'm honestly very sad I never got to know him. It seems you were very
fortunate to have such an amazing father and role model. I'll raise my glass tonight to you and yours, and Jon's memory.

Hard to follow Wardens words of wisdom.

My condolences for your Dad. Sounds like a cool guy to have rode with.

One of my best memoreis is when he rode his bike up to Lincoln, NE from Palm Beach, FL and we rode to Sturgis in 2008. We had a great time!

I lost my father 16 years ago,the first time he rode a bike was in overseas during wwii I think in holland or france.
He taught me how to ride, and I miss him dearly to this day.

I feel for you,do not ever forget the good times you shared with him

Re:In Memory of 10 Months, 1 Week ago
Thank you all for the kind words. I do have good memories and that keeps his spirit alive within me. My father was 69 years young, he had a heart condition after a quadruple bypass in 1985 his heart pumped at 27% but he lived life to the fullest. I didn't mean for this to be a saddening post but rather an inspiration to us all. Were is the inspiration, well even with his heart condition he did ride 4,200 miles to Kansas City for a Canaday/Maxwell family reunion, then to his high school reunion in Grant City, MO and got into a fight in the next town over at a strongest farmer contest, then to Lincoln, NE to see my brother and I for the 4th of July, then to South Beloit, IL to see my older brother and his family, then to Bloomsburg, PA to see my sister and her kids, then to back to Florida (riding through a tropical storm) for his new wife’s birthday on July 12th. It taught me that when the chips are down or the project seams too big just try harder.

Some his favorite sayings:
-Never give up!
-Die Living!
-No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up!
-If someone has done wrong, tell them. If someone has done right, tell everyone!

Again, thanks guys. I’m out riding in his memory!!!
