#44919 navcop73 (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 2 Re:kuryakyn lightbar w/led turn signals 4 Years, 7 Months ago   I already have a diode kit installed, and I still get the same issue.I too have Kuryakyn working on it as well as Custom dynamics.com. I even sent them the link to your video. They are both supposed to get back to me. I've tried a 2 amp load equalizer, a 4 amp one, and both of them together. I've also tried an LED flash relay with all those combinations. Kury suggested that with Yamaha bikes that there is an issue with the stock main switch and It won't run 2 sets of LED's on the front. But I don't see how that can be the problem when Rev only has the one set of LED's, and I am useing the same wires that go to my mirrors and the mirrors aren't having problems. I'll let you know what responses I get back from the companies.   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access. #52660 scottay0 (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 10 Re:kuryakyn lightbar w/led turn signals 4 Years, 6 Months ago   This is an old string but I will try it anyway I have the same led light bar; plug and play run turn brake controller; 2 load equalizers; 1 diode between indicator and left and right circuit; led fender strut lights and currently have no single brake light. all functions work with bike not running and if you turn the idle down far enough they will work as well. But off idle front led markers start to flicker irattically. The good thing is that he's an electronics technician and cured the problem by installing a "filter" capacitor in the power line going to the flasher relay. He used a 1uF capacitor and took care of the flickering. He soldered the pos. lead of the cap. going to the 12 volt in side of the relay, and the neg lead to the cap. to any known good ground. I would start with the 1uF, You may need to use a different size capacitor for your bike. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1164 Re:kuryakyn lightbar w/led turn signals 4 Years, 6 Months ago   no, the capacitor shunts the noise spikes to ground. no, it will not damage any other electronics. unfortunetly, his bike is in Hawaii right now so we're unable to show a pic of it. Sorry. His bike is a Yamaha R1, but it doesn't matter the bike. Noise is noise. His words, not mine. I have five diodes on front cicuit a cb radio noise filter installed a new ground and a capacitor installed and still no change. light seem to work better if the battery is low. I dropped my bike in the garage and the only thing that got damaged was the light bar. Now I need to buy new one. I don't plan to replace it with the same one. Problem fixed. What I was thinking about doing, but never got around to it was to wire the brighter LEDs (turn signal) to the running light wires and then get a couple of relays and connect them to the turn signal wires. And run the Running light wires through the relay.
