All but 3 are in the bone yard or on static display. 2 still belong to the Air Force, and the only "A" model is still flying with NASA.

We were replacing inboard lower wing planks that cracked out from the riser weep holes. We are doing Plank insertions on this magnificent beast up here, among many other things. Lockheeds, it seems, (at least Constellations, P-3's, 130's and 141's) carry a lot of the same structural DNA.

My dad was an EE at Lockheed, Lockheed-Martin, General Dynamics & Convair, all at the same desk.
