I do not have to contend with temps that low, but my start and warm up is full choke start immediately cut to about 3/4 walk over punch code close garage door. Walk back to scooter about 10 feet each way in case anyone is curious, push choke in to half, put on helmet and gloves back her out the street about 30 feet, gently put her in gear ride about 100 yards to the first stop sign, one block the next turn on road out of the development and as soon as I shift to second gear push in the choke. Sometimes it dies when I make my next stop after running maybe 2-3 minutes, but not very often. That is about it for warm up. Coldest I have ever run this scooter is at about 50 degrees with the same warm up procedure.

Like most of you;

For a cold engine start during summer, I give a full pull on the choke for about 30-60 sec, and when temperature drops below 50°F, I give a full pull for 30 sec and half way for 2-3 min. But I never ride even as little as ¼ of a mile with the choke on and never warm up the engine in a stationary mode for more then 10 min, even when temp is colder. My two cents.
