Soma,

Just put on the V & H Shortshots today! Also, added a K&N
'filtercharger' then took it out on a test run to see how
it impacted the fuel flow. I'd purchased a Baron Jet Kit
in case it did and I needed to rejet.

It was a little slow on the warmup (slight throttle hestiation)
but, by the time I got out the gate, it was running like a scalded
hog!!

Almost gave myself whiplash going through the gears!

I took it out on the freeway and got up to 80ish before traffic
started backing up. No coughing, hesitation, nada.....

Am extremely happy with the improved performance.

Did you replace the whole intake assembly, or just put in a K&N? Doc didn't you say something about a good intake company? Mabye baron, I've been flipping through the forums but I can't find where I read it the first time
