Do you have a cover on it? Did you seal up the shed too good? There needs to be some air movement / exchange. If you have a cover on it you could try putting a trouble light under the bike and leave it on all the time.

I think the fan is your best bet LE, although it probably only does it on humid days. mine sits in the carport, Ive gone out in the morning many times, and seen condensation on it..when the night was cold and the day was warm.. once it gets cold and stays cold, you probably won't have that problem,,,

You might try installing a vent near the top of the shed to release the moisture which is surely wicking up through the wood floor. If the shed has a gable roof, there are plenty of gable vents that you can install with minimal work and cost. If that doesn't work you can purchase a power roof vent to help with circulation. You'll obviously need access to electricity if you go that route.

I would agree with Yakman. Whe the temps warms up and heat builds in the shed you need a vent to let the warmer air get out. When you trap it and it cools off is when you get the condensation. You may have sealed the shed too tight. Put a cheap vent in and see if that helps.

I dont have a cover on it Musky. I wanted one and I read somewhere that if theres even the slightest bit of dirt that it will scratch it up. I can access electricity in the shed, the edges of the roof where they come down from the peak let air in all along each of the side walls. But a vent might help let the moist air out. I might try a combination of all your ideas. Maybe install a vent, cover the bike and leave a light on underneath it. Its bothering me to the point now that I am seriously considering measuring my back door and then the bike lol. I appreciate all the comments so far though. Thats why I come here first. Everybody willing to help out

I was wondering about a cover because some of them aren't very breathable and can trap moisture. If you have vents in the shed a simple fan might be all you need.
Of course insulation and heat would be real nice too. You need a project don't ya?

Hey LE, metal sheds are horrible for storing, I have a shed of all wood and it does not sweat and one of all metal and it swaets like hell like you have,My .02 cents is line the entire shed with foam insulation and ductape all the seams or line it with wood ,or try the vent. The bare thin metal heats up and cools off faster than the contents of the shed causing the condensation. the wood or insulation will slow down the prosess, therefore eleminating the sweating. If you use the insulation be sure to ductape the seems in the ceiling or the condensation will drip thruogh the cracks cause the metal will still sweat between the insulation and the shed during the temp change.
hope this helps and Im not blowing smoke?
