I don't know if this is a biker quote or not but I heard it the first time at a bike rally so that must qualify. "Life is too short to drink cheap beer."

Dress for the crash.

Just two weeks ago a local rider was critically injured while on a "Toys for Tots" ride. He was wearing a helmet that was not DOT approved.
