Has any one had issues with fit of the speedstar filter unit. Mine does not seem to fit the stock air box backing piece very well. I will have to cut the center bolt down and the seal edge is not exact.

Helmut, we installed one of these on my buddies 05 using the stock backing plate, and I agree , it is a little iffy. But, we worked with it and it finally went together ok, been fine ever since. BB
