HK 2.75 Big Straights 4 Years, 5 Months ago

Could someone tell me if the Big Straights for a 1600 would fit a 1700? They look the same but the part numbers are slightly different. Numbers are 49-3020B for the 1600 & 49-3030B for the 1700. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not positive ...but I think if it fits one it will fit the other.  Pipes that is. |

I don't know of a anyones pipes that won't fit both. The other HK pipes work on 1600 & 1700.

Thanks. I found a guy that has some he bought for a 1600 and ran 1 week. Took them off because he thought that they were too loud. I rode with him and loved the sound. Said i could have them for $150. I guess I will try them tomorrow.

I don’t know were you took your info but both 2.75 Big Straight for 1600cc & 1700cc share the same part number 49-4020B, therefore they must fit both bikes.

Look on Hard Krome site Under R*. Click on the one with the photo and the part # is 49-4020B and then click on the one without a photo (the one with the red x) and the part # is 49-4030B. If you look under the 1600 link it only gives you one choice (4020 . So I was curious and checked different venders sites and looked under 1600 then 1700 and some gave the different part #'s. So I thought that I would check with ya'll on here before I took my exhaust off.  |

Many people reuse the old ones. I figure I might as well replace them. If you do decide to get new ones don't get them from the dealer. You can get them from auto parts stores and save a good chunk of money. You want Fel-Pro 23588
