80 degrees in December 4 Years, 5 Months ago
I Just wanted to say Hello to everyone, This is my first post.
I just got back from a ride to Cedar Key, Fl. 150 mi. round trip to the Gulf of Mexico.
It actually got down in the low 70's on the way home, had to put on long sleeves.
Had a nice dinner with the old lady and saw a nice sunset. Had my brother from Texas over for Christmas and rode to Daytona on Fri. Very nice ride around the "loop" then down Main Street.
This is a great forum and enjoy reading everyone's input.

Thanks

I had about six beers and still can't figure out how to add a cool picture to my post. Any tips?

Yo, Parrothead. I rode 70 mi or so today also (Daytona, Deland, Ormond). Can't complain about 80 in December...but cold weather is coming Mon and Tues. Of course, our version of cold doesn't compare to that of our brethren in the great white north. Almost headed to Main St today, but figured I'd only buy another leather jacket, which I don't really need. Thinking about heading toward St. Augustine tomorrow. Glad to see another Central Floridian on the clinic!

Hey, Glad there is someone else in my neck of the woods. Thought I was the only one from central Fl.
We definetly have the advantage with our climate. However it does'nt give us as much excuse to put up the bike's for the winter and do all kinds of cool modifications.

Hey guys, next trip to Daytona I will have to look ya up! I've never been to bike week in the spring, but I have gone to Biketoberfest for the past 4 years. The first 3 trips we stayed in DeLand, this past year we stayed in ? Can't remember the name of that place just north of Ormond beach, seems like it was halfway to St.Augusteen, over some toll bridge and a cool resort. This comming year I have a lot better place to stay, my ridin buddy's son is working in Daytona and just bought a house a block off the beach going down toward Cape Canaveral, so we plan on several trips down this spring and summer! It's about 600 mile trip for us!

I have to say parrothead, 70's and pulling out the long sleeves, man must be nice. If it hits 60 degrees here in December, I am rolling 75mph with a light jacket.
Welcome
