I'm not being a smart ass here but I've been riding 40 plus years and have no clue what a tank bra or bib is nor what it does nor why.

I was considering adding one of these to my bike and my buddy scoffed at me lol. According to him, he says they scratch the paint underneath over time as dirt and bugs collect under them. Guess I can see his point.

As for coupon codes... Google only found an old one 'KAWANOW'. Not much else in my searching.

They look easy to install so it shouldnt be to hard to take one end off . Also has a soft backing material . I'm pretty bad to be in garage late in evening having a couple and just start cleaning the roadie . Think keeping it waxed wil deter paint scuffing .

They are easy to put on. Mine has clips by the seat that the bra hooks on, and velcro that sticks to the side of the tank inside the tunnel at the front. You'll have to take the tank off to do it properly I'd imagine. I can remove mine, by just removing the dash, and pulling the velcro tabs loose.
Mine doesn't have a soft underside, just the suede backside of regular leather. There are a couple of places, where it has dulled the finish, and I can almost get it back with wax. I think some 3m Finesseit, would do the job.
I believe that if I'd take a wire brush and brush up the suede nap on the bottom/tank side of the bra, it'd stop it. The places where its taking the gloss off the shine, are where the leather has gotten smooth and hard. I like the looks of the tank bras. JMO.
There are two types, the one that just covers that part by the seat, and the ones like mine that go from the seat, and all the way to the front of the tank.

No codes though. Sorry

I use to practice removing bras in high school. I stayed away from women that could clip one end to their seat. Even with Velcro, I didn't want to see the rough marks they left on those.

What? Oh, never mind.

Tank bib . I have also been looking at 3m plastic protection like they use on headlights or rocker panels . A clear plastic protection i could put under bib and on corner of gas tank next to seat . I seem to scuff the tank on both sides . Guess it is where my thighs rub .
