Motor cycle trailers 4 Years, 4 Months ago
I am looking at several MC trailers to hook up to the rear of my Motorhome.
I have looked at a few and found that $1500-1800 is the normal price for a used 5x80r 6x10 enclosed trailer.Does anyone in the State of Connecticut have a trailer they want to sell ??

I can't speak for the rest here but I only pull a trailer behind my bike. If you see my R* on a trailer call the cops cause it's been stolen!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about a trailer for my scoot and did a little research.

I found LOTS of trailers on craigslist and some were down right cheap. I just checked and found a 4x6 with a ramp for $350. I wouldn't think you'd need an enclosed trailer if you're pulling it behind a motorhome. You'd get plenty of protection from the wind because of the draft behind the RV, so maybe just a motorcycle cover to keep it dry and free of road grime.

Just a thought.

I'm like hardone2get. Never put a bike on a trailer, but then again, I've never ridden more than 650 miles in one day or more than 1800 miles in 3 days.

I need the enclosed kind for storage as well, when not towing it. This is a more economical way to tow and use a vehicle once MotorHome is set up at a camp site. tried the car routine, way too costly.Besides using the car left the bike at home...Now I have the best of both worlds. I received my trailer today. Went down to DMV got it registered and already have my Roadstar snugged away . Now I have much more room in my garage for other toys...

Call Lucky's trailer sales in South Royalton VT. Not to far from you, he has a huge assortment of trailers. Ask for Russell Dimmick Or Tim Mills. They also have Luckys Motorsports. (including Yamaha) great people. I used to spend every Feb in Florida with Russell.

Re:Motor cycle trailers 4 Years, 4 Months ago
I have riden 760 miles in one day and done 5000 miles in 2 1/2 weeks. I pull a trailer behind my bike which opens up to have a king size bed and a 6'x6' changing room. I have 27 cubic feet of storage under the bed. So I have everything I need to travel for 3-4 weeks at a time. I have owned my R* since my wife bought it for me new in 2000 and the only time it was on a trailer was when I had a tire tube go bad. I can't stand traveling by any other means then my motorcyle. Cars,Trucks & motorhomes are boring and expensive. IMO!
