Was wondering if there is any advantage to one jet kit versus the other Dyno Jet or Barons etc. I have given up trying to get the dealer to get my bike right.
Will probably take the AIS off to.

They both work. I have read that the Barons needle and Mik jets are easier to get tweaked right but lots - O - people use the dyno stuff and their bikes work just fine. You already made the best decision by taking the dealer out of the equation. The rest will work itself out much better now  |

As you probably already know, there is a great explanation of AIS removal in the Tech Articles. One thing I did was use an empty 45 auto case to plug the holes in the cylinder the AIS tubes came out of.

Mostly it gets rid of all that ugly junk hanging off the bike. If you have decel popping it will help get rid of it but It won't do anything for the performance of the bike by taking it off.

AIS is the system bolted in front of your motor that pumps fresh air into the exhaust after combustion to give a false clean air number to the EPA. It does not harm the bike to remove it, actually cleans it up the front of the motor. Kits to remove it are around 15 buck, and an hour or so of your time. Did mine some time ago, I thinks it's worth doing. 2 cents. BB

I agree with Musky. Take the dealer out of the equation, if possible; but don't burn your bridges, either. There are some things better left to a shop.
