Hi, my name is Mike. I've been a member for over a year now. It may be a little late to do this, but here goes. I am a family man 45 y/o, two great kids b20 and g18 and wonderful wife who understands my need for speed and addiction to ride whenever and wherever I can. I am a Millwright by trade. I work in an areospace foundry as the foundry maintenance supervisor. I purchased a 2005 r* midnight in 2006, and have done only the following mods:
stage 1 exhaust, remove
AIS, relocated fuel pump, custom design and fab lay down licence plate,relocated recifier, rewired and hid all wiring running to starter retifier etc.. a few more and a lot of nice accessories.
I like to ride the secondary senic roads, and there are lots in my area (North Ottawa Valley,Ontario). I've had many bikes over the years since I was 13.
I have ordered (This week) Samson Rolled Thunder slip ons, I kinda like the look, and they were very inexpensive. I plan to custom design and build my own intake filer set-up. as well before spring, when I plan to deliver the bike to my mechanic for jetting and set-up.
Can anyone give me some feedback regarding the Samson Rolled Thunder slip ons?
I enjoy reading the posts whenever I get time. There is a lot of very talented people sharing thier wisdom for which I am thankful.
