Hey y'all... (I'm from Texas, can you tell?)
My name's Randy Crisp and I am a long time
RSR's forum reader...
I'm 51 years old and I started riding at 13 on a Sear's 106, and had numerous other (definitely larger) bikes since, although I did take a 20 year hiatus, I've been riding again on my (taupe/pearl) Silverado since '02.
I've been married to my wife Angela for 30 years. (Next month anyway)
I was in the printing industry for close to 30 years, and now I work from home doing various artwork including Alien Faces for the Roadies. (No plug here)
My bike's mostly stock I guess, no internal mods, but do have Cobra lo-boys, K&N air kit, 32 tooth pulley,
Nemesis manifold, and some added leather and studs.
I like fishing, photography, art, reading, computers, (I used to scuba dive and jump from perfectly good airplanes) and I have a REAL man's dog, a Yorkie, and of course bikes.
I mostly like riding longer trips as opposed to bar-hopping, my longest trip so far was 3,400 miles from Dallas Texas, to Utah, (Star Days '03) it's not that long of a trip, but when you get lost, it sure can be! hehe
I've met many friends online through my bike, it has literally changed my life, the bike AND the people, I wouldn't have it any other way...
This is one of the forums that will be around a while and REALLY help, it's years of experience at your fingertips, for someone like me that's not mechanically inclined as most, this will be my answer to most of my questions.
Thanks for that!
Randy "The (Great) White One"
