Welcome to the Clinic Randy!!

Any chance we could talk you into doing an article about installing an Alien Face on a Road Star?

Hi Gram,

I'm sure that could be done.
I'll think about what needs to be done and go from there.
I can't say when, but I like the idea.
Soon I'll get to it and send a rough idea of it to you and see what you think.

Thanks for the welcome Gram!

Hello Kevin,
I also ride a 2004 RS. You will find many helpful items here and a great place to ask questions. Welcome to the family!

CRASH here … got the nickname when I raced Superbikes “umpty flumph” years ago and it has stuck. First bike was a Bultaco 250 when I was eleven and having survived that have been riding every since. I couldn't list all the bikes I have owned in my 30+ years of riding, but I have owned – and wrecked – quite a collection. Just bought a brand new on the show room floor 2003 Roadstar (the color and the spoke wheels called to me from where I was looking at a Royal Star – the siren’s wail could not be ignored … and my wife liked it too – soooooo …. ) and immediately gussied it up. Am LOVING the bike and HATING Concord Yamaha’s service department , but thanks to some tweaks I have found here and some other forums, I have my “Woad Star Wunna” purring like a kitten (and virtually rattle free). New pipes and it will growl like a Tigger .. er, Tiger.

Father of a 10 year old son that is the best riding buddy I have ever had and a 13 year old demoness ... I mean daughter. (They go back to normal at some point don’t they? ) The 10 year old has already calculated that about the time he turns 16 I should be wanting a new bike and he can have my Roadstar … kid is too smart, but I can weasel a new bike out of it so what the heck. Work as a Manufacturing Operations Manager near Sacramento, CA and live about an hour from San Francisco.

Great forum and a great community I have found myself in. I never realized how much fun I could have at 50MPH, and what a great crowd of people I would fall in with when I bought my Yamaharley.

Hello all. I am new to this site but like what I see so far. My name is Paul and live in the middle tennessee area now. Was born in England, grew up in the Detroit area and now here. I work in Machine Maintenance for an auto maker here. I was raised around bikes as mh dad was an avid rider, he had many bikes in England, from an ariel leader to a vincent black knight. I have had over the years a yamaha 390(I think) enduro type, a honda 750 four, and now have an 04 R* Midnight Silverado. Really like it, have 2000 miles on it so far, it is currently stock, but have some HK 2.75 Big Straights on order. Just a start but hopefully to add some more stuff as time permits. I also have a 67' GTO, am a licenced pilot, a scuba diver, an amatuer photographer, ........, the list goes on, too many expensive hobbies. I live on 55 acres just outside of Nashville with my long time girlfriend and our dog.
