The chrome on my speedsters final tips is peeling off after just 1 year.
Does it happen to someone else?

The same thing is happening to my kuryakyn mirrors. Both are chromed billet pieces made of aluminium, but my mirrors are 2 years older. I wonder if there is a connection with that fact

Never had a problem with peeling on the Cobra Speedster Longs on my V-Star 1100 Classic in the year and a half they've been on. What is the climate where you ride? I am in the Houston area, hot and humid most of the time, and I've made lots of rides along the Gulf of Mexico, and never had any problems. Only problem I had was I ground the bottom tip to a sharp point on tail of the dragon last year...

I just bought a Roadie with Cobra Speedster Slashdowns... hoping to avoid the scraping.

Keep the shiny side up.

It is quite hot (35°c) and very humid in summer not so cold (-2°c) and still very humid in winter. There is salt on the roads in part of nevember, december and january, but I don't think that salt is the cause, 'cause in this case I should have all the chromed parts spoiled
