Go to Autozone and buy a couple of metal (not plastic) 1157 bulb sockets and wire the running lights into the tail light running light. Make sure you connect the turn signal wires to the same respective bulb filament on each side or your turn signals (one or both) will flash too fast. The metal 1157 sockets have a lip on then that I ground off. That may not be necessary, but it made installation easier.

I thought about that and I know it would work but for a couple reasons I think I'll wait for the Plug and Play.

1. I'd rather not hack into the wiring if I can get around it.

2. It's really best if I stay away from wiring. Bad things happen.

Musky:

Did you ever figure this one out?

If we want to multi-purpose our turn signals, then we have to change the sockets to 1157. The OEM 1156 socket uses a bulb which only has a single filament.

Arrrgggghhhhh!

I didn't do it. I try very hard to avoid messing with wires. I truthfully suck at it. I ordered the Kury plug and play, got tired of waiting for it(3 months) cancelled my order, and they started shipping them a week later The Kury and Custom Dynamics are both plug and play. No socket swapping. Just need red lenses or bulbs. There is another that supplies red LED rings that you put inside you lenses. Your stock turnsignal bulb still works the same as always and the red ring works as Run, brake, and turn. I can't remember who makes that one though. I think I'm just got to go with one of the plug and plays.
