Thanks Steven. I was reckoning on 4.??? plus some spare for top ups, 'cos it's real hard to get AMSoil here in Tenerife.....In fact it quite tricky to get anything for a R* here. I have the only one on the Island.

Yeah, Talk about unique! I just change the oil add 4 qts and forget about it until my next oil change. Yama has made it so difficult to check the oil level it's not worth it! I use Amsoil and love it! Our Roadies don't really burn/use oil. If yours does you got bigger issues
Ride on!

Hey martinbo
I'd order two gallons, and at least two oil filters.
You should be set for a while that way. Besides, maybe save a little on shipping.

So , when people say "what Island have you been living on"? , you say Tenerife? Where's that ? (oh, and to stay on topic , Coach Dans thought is a good one). BB

It is completely true, I do have the undisputed best looking R* on the island.

Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands which are located a little off the North West coast of Africa. Always warm and sunny - every day is a biking day. Rains on average 8 Times a year, but snows enough on Mt Teide in winter(11,500 feet)to supply most of our drinking water.

To stay on topic, (one of) the only thing(s) missing is an AMSoil supplier, and when you consider that there are literally thousands of bikes on the island, you would think a good AMSoil rep would call at least one of the bike shops on the island....Maybe there is an opportunity here.....
