I was born and bred in Montreal and there are many places to buy 45's there... only it is more common to find 9mm's

Yea the 1600 and 1700 are different,, 1600 uses plugs/45 shells, and the 1700 has cover plates..I know the plates won't work on the 1600, not sure the other way around...

Just finished removing mine last night. It was really easy, only took about 45 mins. to complete. Just like everything else, you do one and you can do the next in 20 mins.

Now I have to relocate the fuel pump. I wish I did that at the same time, just lazy about removing the tank.

You got to the nipple on top of the manifold without taking the tank off?

No I removed the tank, I just don't want to do it again. the truth is it is really easy, I just nervous that it is gonna get scratched with it off the bike. I'm use to throwing around plastic tanks.

I'm glad I waited til she was pretty empyt though.

My baron's kit arrived today and I was reading the instructions. I have a 2006 silverado and the directions say 99-03, 04. The directions differ a little between the 99-03 to the 04, so are the 04 directions good for an o6? I went to the tech articles on the forum and the ais removal is broken down the same way. Thanks for the help.

All 1700 motors are the same. The only difference would be if you have a California model which has a bunch more junk to take off.
