Hey SM
Does it move you forward? I hear yes and no. Makes it tough to make a decision with both of those answers.

Glad you like the seat

I'm glad you like the ultimate seat. I just ordered the yamaha dual touring seat with the removable backrest and seat bar. I did'nt ask around about it, I hope its comfortable. Has anyone got any comments about it? I like the look of it without the backrest on it for when I'm riding without my better half. Hope the backrest meets the queens approval tho. Otherwise I might be riding solo more often. That might not be too bad now that I think about it. Ha Ha

I think it does move me forward but not enough to be a problem. I know what you mean because that was a concern of mine, but I decided to take a chance on it and it turned out to be the right choice.

SMGray.......Do you ride two up? I'm killing myself trying to decide on a good seat for the wife. I really need for her to sit on one but that's tough.

Re:New Ultimate seat installed !! 4 Years, 3 Months ago
Radar,
I do ride two up and that is one of the reasons I chose the Ultimate seat. My wife really likes it because it is firm and wider than the standard Silverado seat. I should point out also that one of her problems was the height of the floorboards. I had to change the exhaust in order to lower those. I installed the new seat and lowered the passenger floorboards on the same day, so when she sat on it for the first time, it was quite a difference.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are going to like this seat for the long haul.

The Corbin is a nice seat also. I have had two of them on Moto Guzzis and they were super seats. However, I thought the driver backrest was a waste of money and gave no support at all. This is why I chose the Ultimate. The adjustable driver backrest was an important consideration for me because I tend to have some lower back pain on long rides. Hope this helps.
