Would it be possible to install a RoadStar (04 or above) tail/break light on a 01 v star 1100 classic?
is the V star rear fender wide enough, will the Road Star light physically fit on the V star?
how much customization do you think would be required?
How much does the whole Tail/break light normally run?
I am not installing the bar with the turn signals as I am going for a side mounted plate an integrated turn, break light LED board.

I posted this in the Road Star forum because I am hoping one of you might have worked with both bikes and could tell me
if the Road Star Tail light will fit on the V Star 1100 fender?
I don't imagine any of the 1100 riders have needed to work on a Road Star much
My question again is will the 04-08 Road Star Tail light physically fit on the V Star 1100 Classic rear fender?

I doubt a lot of Road Star riders need to work on the 1100 much. When you come into someones house asking for help you should at least say hello. Maybe ask for help please. Or say thanks for any info.

Anything can be made to fit. For the 1700 taillight you will need to have the VStar fender recessed.
