BillJR... Just wanted to say the floorboard extenders are great!
The entire mod took a little less that two hours... (That included pulling the exhaust to get to that little screw for the break-line!)
But, all in all, it was a straight up install!
Thanks for the parts...
Top quality parts all the way!
Oh, BTW: Because of the increased angle of the footboards, I can use my heel shifter with my boots once again!
Now, if I can just get my wife to stop smacking me in the back of the head when the boards scrape around a turn... Do you make anything for that?

Just curious...

I have Linby highway bars on my RoadStar. Will your extenders work with this setup on my 2007 RoadStar?

Thanks!

Yup, that is the kind of bar I have on mine. I even have the instructions wrote up on how to do it. If you dont mind cutting up the lower chrome bracket it works great. It even makes the highway bar more stable. Let me know, I still have some but havnt put them back on the classifieds cause I dont have many left.

Bill

Bill Jr.,
Thanks for the extenders. Took less than an hour for me & I love them. No more cramped feeling. I have 3" HK's so I dodn't have to remove any exhaust mount bolt. Very straight forward instructions, too. Plus, like you say, they're real shiny! I'll update my sig pic soon so everyone can see them.

Bill Jr.,
are they a staight-up install with my Yami big bar?
I'd really like to be able to strech out a little
Thanks,
Darrin

Re:FLOORBOARD EXTENDERS IN THE CLASSIFIEDS 7 Months ago
Once, there where 3 moles, a papa mole, a mama mole, and a baby mole. They all lived on a farm.
One moring the papa mole stuck his head out of the mole hole and said, Ooh I smell bacon"
The mama mole wanted to smell it too, so she stuck her head out of the mole hole. "ooh, I smell eggs!"
Baby mole wanted to smell this too, but there wasn't enough room for his head too fit out of the hole.
So. he pouted all the way back to bed saying... "All get to smell is... molasses!"
Sometimes, I crack myself up...

Ok, ok, Yeah, I know... what the heck does this have to do with Floorboard Extenders?!?

Actually...

Some of us seem to have more trouble with floorboard extenders than others...
My problems seem to come from the misses, when I drag the repositioned boards... (I get a whack in the back of the head and a firm "Stop That!)
So, getting back to the moles...
Yami has chosen to call the floorboard "heel" (That piece of sacrificial metal on the bottom and back of the floorboard...) a "Mole"!
As a matter of fact... they go as far as naming them Mole 1 and Mole 2... Part numbers 4WM-27496 and 4WM-27497... (It Sounds like Dr. Suess works for Yami!)

Now, armed with that information... Is there an ingenious machinist out there that could recreated replacement parts out of, oh lets say a super hard plastic like, perhaps ... Delrin?
Even if I had to replace them once a month, I think the lump on the back of my head would disappear in a week or so...
