Thanks guys, I did buy the bike, so I will be needing one, the KOSO universal so far seems to be the ticket.

If I wanted to modify the stock speedo, of course I would buy a unit from a wrecked bike, but would the mileage still be accurate? Does the unit keep the mileage and buy swapping it out does the mileage change to that of the unit you are using to replace it?

Yes the dash keeps the mileage so if you swap dashes you get the mileage of the swapped dash.

Good way to keep the mileage low.
