Hey to everyone...l new here, looking for a little 4 Years, 2 Months ago
On my 2001 roadstar, just installed kuryakyn 1431 turn signal mirrors..
The problem I'm having is a feed back when I hook up the running light wire from the mirrors,Blinkers work fine as long as I keep the running light wire unhooked...Talked to KURYAKYN They said diode kit was needed, put diode on both running light wires did not help, great blinkers no running on mirrors...
As anyone had this problem???????

WOW that's going to be a hard one. I don't know of anyone that has put those on. I have given them some thought myself. Some one will surely chime in soon.

Do the running lights work if the blinkers aren't hooked up? Are you sure you are hooking the wires up right? Maybe try a different power wire for the running

Soba you BADDDDDDD! I'm look for a lot. Midnight don't forget diodes are a one way device are you sure you have it in the right direction? Have you tried putting it on the turn signal wire instead of the running light wires? Give me the colors of the wires you are hooking them up to and I will look at the wiring digram for the bike.

Sorry for the subject title, should have said looking for a little help..
Anyway,The diodes I pick up at work they are 4-amp,wire color was green and brown turn signals, blue running lights..tried diode on blinkers and running light still feed back, sometimes a a bad ground will give you some feed back, checked that...I did try other hot wires still no luck...
P.S.I was afraid someone might get the wrong idea about subject title..lol..well if nothing else made you look.

Hey midnight
Try to get Kuryakyn to send you the destructions and specifications of the diode kit. That way you can be sure what amp diodes, how many and where they recommend putting them(I know at this point you most likly have suggestions)
Other than than hook everything up put it into the feed back condition and systematically disconnect one wire at a time until you isolate the source of the feedback and go from there. You were right to check for grounds as that is the most common source of feedback. Good luck my friend, isn't electricity fun

Re:Hey to everyone...l new here,looking for a little 4 Years, 2 Months ago
Well, was talking to tech support at kuryakyn the guy said it can't be done 2 sets of front blinkers,I told him I have 2 sets in the back with no problem..He said on metric bikes it will not work on the front..I put the new lights from Custom Dynamics called knight riderz led light bar,no feed back on that end..maybe thats whats wrong,To damn many lights. My problem is that I like to be seen when I stop, almost got my ass ran over last summer...(HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT SEE A 1600cc ROADSTAR)Anyway back to the problem the tech guy should have not told me it cant be done, its a mission not...The diode kit they have is for a single element bulb I have 1157 bulbs not 1156,But he did say maybe it could be done on the back side of the wiring harness..maybe something to look at.?.
Kuryakyn has yet to find anyone that has made it work, but he did say if I make it work to let him know...they dont have a clue..
