I bought my bike/atv jack for $49 from Pep Boys... on sale. I like it. I have a carport with gravel and it works fine. I do get it up in the air and then set the bike on blocks of 4x4's setting on 6x6's which lets the bike set on a very solid surface. Setting on the bike stand alone, the bike tends to wobble back and forth from front to back, and is unstable while you are polishing and turning the wheels etc..
