I think EVERYONE has gone through this one when I bought my R* the guy I got it from rode it 300 miles and parked scared to ride it and the battery was dead soooowe spent 2 hours trying to remove the seat

taking off side covers etc. to get to the battery then his wife came out wanting to know how much longer and we explained the problem and she reached over pushed on the seat turned the key and popped it off to our amazment! Then said "Honey don't you remember the salesman explaining that to you?"
