Good Deal?? 4 Years, 2 Months ago
Well I either got a great deal on a set of exhaust on ebay or I'm missing something?? Had similiar ones on my VT1100 and loved them. Just shy of $200.00 delivered and the going rate seems to be around $450.00 at the parts houses. Now just hoping I didn't miss something!!

I've personally had great experience with ebay purchases...Heck, I got my bike off ebay. Sounds like you saved a bundle, so hope it works out well.

From the Samson site:

Warlord Classics

211-103

These are the original, innovative styles that put Samson on the map. Loud and proud, these pipes still have that signature sound that stands out in the crowd but now are finished with Samson’s exclusive Quad Chrome plating process that provides ultimate adhesion and corrosion protection....

The red/black bike is a pic of them.

No doubt. I got mine from there too. A cheap persons mega mall for anything you can think of. It sounds like you got a good deal on the pipes.

That's a great deal, I had the Samson long Streetsweepers on my old Sportster, I paid around 300 for them from Jirah Cycles wich was about 150 cheaper than J&P Cycles. .....Those pipes look similer to my Bubs, I paid about 430.

I got my bike and, with the exception of a handful or two of items, everything else off of e-bay. And am always looking for deals. I just had my Samson Big Gun Slashers installed that ran me $150 and I added the shields for another $150, Khrome Werks baffles for another $50 and gaskets for $11. They look and sound great ... but in less than 100 miles, they're bluing already just under the rear shield. (And before anyone jumps in - yes, I had the card re-jetted down from a 205 to a 175 on the Hypercharger to try to boost gas mileage which was somewhere around 32-35 mpg's.)
