Re:Risers 8 Months ago
ive been lookin into gettin the aeromach pullback risers, I hear you just have to re route the brake line behind trees on most of them, Ive also heard you can slide the whole perch over a little bit to relieve tension on the lines.

I do have a question on that though, If i disconnect the top line from the front master cylinder do i have to bleed it after i route it around the trees and reattach it

Never done it personally but have done hundreds of cars and anytime you break a connection you have to bleed off the air that gets in the line....Coug

Yes ... it sometimes works.

Try to keep the line upright and fill it up before reattaching. When you have it attached, lightly pull the lever about 1/4" and let go. You should see some small air bubble come out of the bore hole in the bottom of the MC. Keep at it until no bubbles come out.

Re:Risers 8 Months ago
I put the aeromach 4" up 2" back risers on with the star bars last year and didnt have to change any lines..I did re-route all the lines behind the trees instead of through them to relieve some tension, but they worked just fine.. I personally wouldnt move the levers to relieve tension because now you are starting to move them out of comfortable reach/pull, and I wouldnt go any further away than that riser/bar setup without changing your lines..also be cautious of your electrical lines brushing your tank..make sure you zip-tie them up so you dont scuff it up..I now have apes on the same risers in my sigpic but they are the same risers.

Re:Risers 8 Months ago
I have the Baron DT pullbacks. 2" pullback with no rise. They look great and are VERY solid. I re-routed my lines to the front of the triple tree. I didn't want to mess with removing the brake line(or any of the lines) so I removed the wind shield and headlight bucket and slipped everything thru whole. Very easy and clean! I am now waiting for Bulldog Handlebars which are a bit wider and more pullback than stock so I will have to change the brake line when I install them. If your interested I can certainly post you a pic.
