New member to the site. I've been looking in for a couple of months, great stuff! I swore I would never ever ride a bike with saddlebags and in the upright position. Well I was wrong! I've been racing motocross for 17 years and have always ridden sport bikes. I have worked at Honda for 3 years and Yamaha for 3 years, last fall my girlfriend and I went looking for a new streetbike. We decided on a new roadstar, I loved the look of the bike when I worked at Yamaha, and the ride is even better. It has been the best bike purchase I have ever made. I love this bike. I have already powder coated my front forks and covers black, lowered the rearend, stage 3 on my exhaust, ported intake manifold, jet kit, and am currently working on fabricating a wide swingarm for that fat rearend! I am a welder/fabricator, and have been building bike engines and suspension work for about 15 years. I am set up to powder coat, and am getting ready to start anodizing aluminum. I love cruising and the saddlebags are priceless!!!

Yeah, I didn't think I wanted saddle bags either until the bike I bought came with 'em. I've grown to love 'em and wouldn't want to ride a bike without 'em. At least not for any distance.
