Just wanted to let you guys in on my experiences on Seat and Tire dealers.
First Seats, I decided to go with a seat manufacturer that seemed on face value to have it together, Diamond Custom Seats in Florida. My first seat they shipped me could have been confused with a pool float. It was 4 times the size in height of the stock seat. It sent it back to have it made as they advertised it would. But, not before the owner made rude remarks on the phone. To make a shorter story of this, I wished I had never used this company. The "custom" seat I ended up with is terrible and very uncomfortable. No way to get my money back.
Tires, I cannot over emphasize the great service and price I received from American tires .com. Excellent company quick turn-around and the cheapest price that I could find anywhere. Tires are new, (not seconds), mounted and balanced perfectly. If you are looking for tires this is the place to check on pricing. Stayed with me the whole time during the order process by email and shipping status. Their web site is americanmototire.com . Give them a try and let me know your thoughts. |

I got my usual pile of email adverts from all the usual suspects today and Cruiser Customizing along with Motorcycle Superstore are spouting "BIG SAVINGS" on tires...! So, being the curious sort that I am... I went surfing...  These "big savings", especially on Metzler ME880 are alright but I stumbled upon Ron Ayers motorsports, up in Greenville N.C.... According to the website he's got a special going on the Metz ME880 rear wide whitewall for the RoadStar at $135.94 (and, $113.83 for the black...) If you're fortunate enough to be in that area... that's a pretty good price for the ME880! (Shipping is $10) |

Thanks for sharing everyone. I am looking at Mustang, Corbin, and Ultimate. I wish I could ride and see before dropping another $600+.
I tried to attach an avatar but it has issues. I saved it at 28kb but it is jacked up.
I am located in Augusta, GA and moved here from Kansas City last June.
