I thought I would post my experiences with a couple of online vendors as info in helping others make a purchase decision.(and to vent LoL)

Jafrum.com.
This is a leather and helmet sales business. Prices were extremely "cheap" as are the products but I did expect that. I ordered 6 items and got 3 pieces pretty quickly. I got a set of saddlebags, gloves and boots. The bags will do for now just as I expected. The gloves ripped like paper when I started to put them on so I returned them for a refund. The boots I liked but I sent them back to exchange for a smaller size. After the other items didn't arrive I called customer service and was promised an email by the end of that day with more info on the other 3 items. I called again 2 days later and found that 2 items were backordered (which I cancelled) and the last was shipped the day after the first 3 items. She gave me a tracking number and while on the phone I checked UPS and found it had been delivered... to Philidelphia, PA. I'm in Mississippi. At this point I explained that they could cancel the boot exchange and refund me for everything but the bags.

accwhse.com (Merchandise Accessory Warehouse)
I placed the order for a Memphis Shades windshield through Amazon.com and MAW was the vendor. 2 days later I get an email from MAW asking me to call because the price had increased. I called to tell them that didn't concern me as I had ordered it at the price they displayed at Amazon. They would not honor it so I cancelled that order and found another dealer that was still a few dollars below their original price...motorcycleproshop.com.

Thanks for the info. on these vendors BBinMS. With the WWW these days it seems there are new "vendors" for everything in the world, not just MC parts/acces. Good to know the good guys from the bad. I had a less than pleasant experience from a vendor from overseas. If I thought these guys would be doing business with them I'd post my dealings, but I with all the sources for most things here in the US, that's doubtful.

Just after I posted this I get an email from Jafrum saying that my jacket was shipped. This is the item that was sent to Philidelphia according to the tracking number they gave me. They now give me a different UPS tracking number that shows it still in transit to me.
Looks like they gave me the WRONG tracking# to begin with. They just can't get it right. The saga continues...

RE: Jafrum

I ordered a leather vest and a leather skull cap from Jafrum. I expected cheap because that's what I paid, but I was pleasantly surprised. The leather vest and skull cap are very nice quality and well made. The shipping was quick and they were very responsive. Of course, this was several years ago. Maybe they're getting too big.

RE: MAW

I agree. I will NEVER buy from MAW again. They had sent me two identical items, yet billed me for one. In my honesty, I called them to explain the mixup. They asked me to please return one of the items and they would reimburse me for the cost of shipping. I returned the item and emailed them with the cost. After they received the item, they refunded me what THEY paid to have the item shipped (which was much less). I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and the salesperson refused. I wrote a letter to the company president and have not received a response to this day.
