Attention in the area, another new member has joined......thats right its me backinthesaddle. I bought a 2001 (no recall) on 12/31/2007. I didn't plan to it just kind of happened. At least thats what I told my wife. I have been to "clinic" several times and finally joined. I notice that Muskie lives in Hopkins, I'm about 20 miles from you in Mounds View.
Was attempting the stage one exhaust procedure, but I'm stuck between stage .5 and .75. I've got the weld cut, but am having a%**&@!!!!! time removing the cone. I have used my dremmel with many cutoff disks making several cuts, but that $&##@%!!! cone is still there.
Its' been about six years since my last bike( kind of sounds like an AA meeting). I really thought I would not have a bike again. Anyway I've been riding between snow storms here.
I beginning to wonder when winter is going to end . My golf clubs are screaming to get out. I'm sure there will be a chance of snow in June.... I guess I'll have to get studded tires.
Anyway, I am glad to have found the "clinic".

I have to go to Menards and get more cutting disks to complete this. Thank you for that information. My wife asked what I was doing and I told her I'm going to make my pipes louder. I'm sure she was excited like me. NOT

Welcome to the clinic, backinthesaddle! You're gonna love the bike so much compared to anything else you've ridden, that those golf clubs will probably start rusting or collecting dust!!!
