Seats 7 Years, 7 Months ago
Well, I just got a good deal on a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo Seat w/Drivers Backrest and a Mustang Wide Vintage Passenger Pillion. Rode it to work today with the backrest and I don't like how much it pushes me forward (I am a pretty tall guy). Took the backrest off and rode it home and realized that this seat is made to use the backrest, at least for me since I like to slide back in the seat which makes me ride on the backrest mount point, which is not really that comfortable. Not even an issue if I sit "normally" or have the backrest in. But that is not how I like to sit.

Now, if I had gotten the version with no backrest and could slide way back like I like to do, this may be a really comfy seat for me. Unfortunately for my build, it is not.

So, with all that said I am interested in either selling it or trading for a Corbin Dual Tourer. It does not have to have a backrest or backrest mount, and if it does, I may still be interested. No studs please, this Mustang does not have studs either.

Again, nothing wrong with the seat, just doesn't fit my ass.

Pictures sent upon request.

Sorry for the delay. A guy wanted them already and I was waiting to make sure he was serious. Got his money order yesterday so they have shipped.

Sorry

No problem. I was glad to read your post. I'm going with the Mustang. I'm 5' 10" and I need to sit up a little more. Reading your post and others like it I'm sure the Mustang is the one for me.
