It was pretty firm at first, but a lot better after started to break in. For the money you can't beat it. I use my Mustang with back rest for longer trips. If you shorten the rear tab about 1/4", and bend the front latch loop about 45* degree or so, it will fit fine. I just laid my stock seat beside it, and used it as a guide to bend the front latch loop.
