LED Lights for Motorcycles 7 Months, 1 Week ago
Your bike is a reflection of you and accent lighting is the perfect solution to personalize your bike.

Wyked Illuzionz’ LED lights come in a variety of colors that you can mix and match or you can stick to the one color that suits you and your bike. We also have color-changing lights that you can program to stay on any one of seven colors at any given time or that rotate through the seven different colors. Our LEDs also come in a variety of shapes and sizes so you can light up almost any area on your bike. The only limit on your lighting is your imagination!

LED’s require very little power, they won’t vibrate off, and they are waterproof. Separate wiring and a switch are provided so as not to interfere with your current wiring or warranty. Remotes, rather than a switch are also available.

We can install your lights for you at our Monrovia, MD location or at one of the rallies/events listed on our website (www.wykedilluzionz.com).

If you are the “do it yourself” type, we can send you the necessary lighting products, accessories, and directions. We also gladly provide telephone support to our customers.

Please refer to our website (www.wykedilluzionz.com) for additional information.

Uh, is this a paid political advertisment for somthing?
And, haven't we covered this in...
Mood (parade) lights
So, I guess I'll say Welcome to the clinic when you tell us what your Road star is like...
Or, have we just been spammed?

Thanks DocShadow. Did not mean to break any rules. We are new to this site and still figuring it all out.

StarCuriser06, I don't have a RoadStar, I have a Harley Sportster but our business is to light up motorcycles (bikes and trikes)and we proudly service all makes and models (www.wykedilluzionz.com).

Maryland just passed a new law authorizing certain LED lights on motorcycles and since we are home based in Maryland we are sharing this info. Pennsylvania also allows it. Many other states allow the lighting as long as it is not red or blue and does not flash or oscillate.

Thanks for the welcome.

Sorry, it was my "operator failure" error... I read your post and forgot to look up at the catagory directory... (Just under the user name info...)
You'd think that after as many posts as I've made I'd have figured it out better myself... Again, please accept my appologies... and Welcome
And, as a fellow rider... Ride safe!

Do differeent states have laws against what colors of leds you can use or if you can use them at all? And where would I find this information you call it?

Re:LED Lights for Motorcycles 7 Months, 1 Week ago
[/img]Most states are pretty vague on the subject (except the red, blue, flashing, oscillating part)!

The laws regarding motorcycle lighting are usually found in the State Code under the heading of Transportation,

On our website (www.wykedilluzionz.com), we have tried to put links to the State codes but it is difficult because there are so many and ever-changing and, like I said, most don't mention LED lighting at all. I wish all states would make it clear (like Pennsylvania).

We are not in a position to interprest all related laws in all states (I wish we were)so we prvide the info as best we can and leave it to the individual bike owner/rider to to make their own decision as to what is written and what is not.

If ever you are able to get a sound reading on a state law relating to LED lights on motorcycles, please let us know and we will post it on our website. We are continuously asking for biker support on this page of our site. It is the best way we know to get the word out to our fellow bikers.

Thanks and ride safe.

One of my riding buddies is second in command in the SO here and has told me several times that BLUE will likely get you stopped in georgia, I dont know anyone yet that has been stopped in georgia for blue lights. But I was told if someone installs blue LED's that flash not only would the bike be impounded, but the installer would be arrested as well.

I have seen 2 tickets issued in myrtle beach south carolina for having blue LEDs. They are pretty hardcore about it there.

Wyked, if you want to narrow down the info for your Florida Link...
Here is the specific section of the Florida Staute that deals with lighting not otherwise classified as Head lights, tail lights, emergency, running or auxiliary lights.

316.2397 Certain lights prohibited; exceptions.--

(1) No person shall drive or move or cause to be moved any vehicle or equipment upon any highway within this state with any lamp or device thereon showing or displaying a red or blue light visible from directly in front thereof except for certain vehicles hereinafter provided.
The most difficult thing about state laws, is making sure the "LEO"s only read the black parts of the page and not the stuff in between...
