Greetings from Alberta, Canada. Friend!
Nice looking '99 WildStar you got there! Yeah! I have to agree with you, the RoadStar/WildStar IS the best bike Yamaha ever built, it maybe even the best Cruiser ever built. My Dad has an '05 Harley Road King Classic, and as far as I'm concerned my '05 RoadStar is twice as much bike for half the price! (The Roadie has way more torque than the Harley and gets better fuel mileage too!)
Welcome to the forum Brother! -StarMyram

In the next winter im gonna customize it ,...the whole bike gets black powdercoating and white-wall-tyres,no chrome at all ! it gets a really mean and nasty look,...i also put on a 45 cm ape-hanger with internal throttle-cabel ! the exhaust will be changed to some supertrapp-fishtails for a real deep sound,...here in germany the cops are very strict in checking noise but i dont care,...so to say: if its too loud, you´re too old !

Welcome Monty.

When you get old it has to be loud because your hearing is so bad that you wouldn't be able to hear it.

Welcome Monty, you said the cops in Germany are a little strict about the noise, My german buddy I work with (at BMW) tells me they're BEYOND strict, anything that's not stock you WILL get a ticket for the way he tells it. He says there's no such thing as a chopper in germany because it would get ticketed to death, regardless of how cool it is, just what I hear though
p.s. I love that it's called a wildstar, I would love a gauge cluster that said that instead of midnight star

thats right, but there are a lot of cool choppers in germany because the most of the restricts are based on the year of fabrication,...the older the bike is , the more can you modify ! for example all bikes build before 1958 have no noise-limit !a new bike from 2006 has to have 80 db which is not much ,....but the strictness of cops depends on where you live in germany,...in the north on the coast the cops are really cool an they say nothin when you ride with open pipes but in the south like bavaria for example its very hard,...everything they don´t know they will check or pull over,...im very glad to live in the northern part of germany,..at the border to denmark and sweden,...

we have a technical check for all vehicles every two years,...then they are checking the brakes,...the lights and other important parts of safe driveing,...but also they check your exhaust system,...so every two years i put off my loud pipes an screw on my stock pipes and ride to the technical check , and afterwards, back at home the stock pipes back in the garage and the loud ones on !

a neighbour of me is also a cop and he rides a 2006 Street Bob from Harley-Davidson,...with some loud screaming eagle pipes,...
