Crankcase breather issue 5 Years, 6 Months ago

OK so I put my snazzy BAK on but now I've got oil spitting out all over my pipes through the filter, I've been living with this for awhile because at first I thought it was the filter and it just had too much lube on it, Now I'm positive this is not the case.

I looked in tech tips and saw the procedure to rerout the breather into another filter and attach it to the rear pegs, I'm not a big fan of this look, is there any other way to prevent my bike from spitting up all over the pipes? It's sort of embarassing and I'm positive it's not good for the bike. The bike is all torn down right now because its' in paint (as soon as it's done I can't wait to post pics

) and I'd like to get this done now. Is the tech tip procedure with the second filter my only option to prevent this? Any help is always appreciated
